Success takes on many forms at R.O.C.K. From stepping out of ones comfort zone to perform in front of a crowd, to being a PhD candidate at UC Berkeley, we are proud to demonstrate the positive impact our work has on our community.

R.O.C.K. Performs at the Asian Art Museum

By Sarah Meike, Special Projects Coordinator

Our students were invited to represent R.O.C.K. at the Asian Art Museum for the SFUSD Children’s Art Festival.  The students did a tribute to the Pacific Islander community by taking the crowd on an Islander rollercoaster ride and performing to “24K Magic” by Bruno Mars. R.O.C.K parents contributed traditional Filipino and Samoan Fabric to create engaging costumes. The kids were thrilled to perform in such a unique space and loved getting to share the experience with students from schools around San Francisco.
